Why You Should Make Your Own Steak Sauce (And How To Do It)

Before you go on about how a good steak doesn’t need steak sauce blah blah blah, let me just say that 1) this is for more than just steak 2) your point only applies to that expensive prime top shelf dry-aged stuff that you spend top dollar on; if you’re buying your steaks at the regular grocery store you’re probably not buying that.

Now, what we really have here is sort of a play on BBQ sauce in my opinion. Except it’s not as sweet, and it doesn’t have cumin or chili powder. It’s tangy and savory with just a hint of sweet, and is perfect for a trip tip sandwich. Or a burger. Or grilled chicken. Or roast chicken. Or… I think you get it.
