When you get boat loads of lettuce from your CSA, you know salad is going to be on the menu for a while. But it doesn’t have to be boring salad. It also doesn’t have to have 30,000 things in it (which I am totally guilty of doing from time to time). By grilling the lettuce and pickling the other vegetables, you’ve got a salad that brings some serious flavor. Oh, and the buttermilk herb dressing is like crack for crudités. Just sayin’.
